We’re the New Baltimore Historical Society — a band of history buffs and Halloween die-hards who, back in 2019, decided to turn our Victorian-era hotel museum into something truly… spirited. That’s how the Haunted Museum Spooky Tour was born.
Each year since, we’ve transformed the Grand Pacific House into a haunted experience that’s grown bigger, creepier, and a little more legendary every time.
We love haunted houses — but we wanted to do it differently.
No endless lines. No jump-scare chaos.
We run hour-by-hour ticketed tours, so your wait is short and your experience is smooth. While you wait, enjoy fresh cider and donuts (included with your ticket), and warm up in the barn or by our outdoor heaters.
Once your tour begins, take your time. Each tour runs about 30 minutes, and we make sure you see it all — every eerie detail, every ghostly room, every story from the past that just won’t stay buried.
There are no chainsaws, no gunshots, and no one chasing you down the hall. This is an immersive, tongue-in-cheek journey through our haunted hotel, filled with real antiques, oddities, and a few surprises. Don’t forget to grab a selfie — the ghosts love attention.
Why do we do it?
Because every scream, laugh, and spine-tingle helps support the masonry restoration of the Grand Pacific House Museum — our beloved 19th-century landmark. We’re a 100% volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 38-2282883).
It’s a labor of love — and a little madness.
